Across the country, public institutions face rising censorship, shrinking resources, and fewer opportunities for learning. Yet the Boston Public Library remains a trusted source of knowledge and connection.

Behind every borrowed book, from a child’s first picture book to the latest eBook, is a simple truth: access matters. Last year, the Library circulated more than 6.6 million items, proof of how deeply people rely on the BPL to learn and grow.

We’re deeply grateful for your support, which keeps the Library’s shelves full, its programs thriving, and its mission strong. Your gift to the Boston Public Library Fund makes a big impact — fueling books, digital resources, and opportunities for everyone who relies on the Library.
