Nayeli Rodriguez
Nayeli is currently a Program Director for the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics and enjoys thinking about the city of the future. She is interested in how changes in technology and the environment will affect how we design and use public space. An urban planner with a background in creative technology and journalism, she draws on interdisciplinary experience to navigate current generational challenges such as climate change and resilience, digital equity, data privacy, automation, and environmental justice. Nayeli previously worked as an urban planner at Sasaki, and managed creative projects for Google. She earned her Masters in City Planning, City Design, and Development from MIT. She is currently a resident of the South End and a member of the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas. Nayeli’s first love is the perfect taco.
