Development Co-Chair
Qamar Rilwanu has a background in economics and finance. In his current role at Moors & Cabot, he works across the finance and business intelligence departments, leading revenue analytics, and creating data driven strategies for operational optimization and AUM growth. Qamar was a member of the Development Committee for the past 2 years and now serves as the Committee’s Co-Chair, where he helps guide fundraising strategy and donor engagement efforts in support of the Boston Public Library. Shaped by a lifelong love of reading and learning, he has a longstanding interest in youth literacy, equitable access to knowledge, and grassroots empowerment. Qamar grew up in Nigeria and England, and made Boston home in 2019. He is godfather to the sweetest cat, named Sushi.
