Named for the Boston Public Library’s most iconic space, Patrons of the Courtyard is a society that recognizes a distinguished group of donors who are committed to leading the charge in furthering the exceptional collections, programs, and services offered by the Library.
The proceeds raised annually from this group are relied upon to provide essential, unrestricted funding at the Central Library and all 25 neighborhood branches.

In appreciation for their commitment, members of Patrons of the Courtyard enjoy a range of distinctive Library experiences, events, and programs throughout the year. Offerings have included private tours, author talks, and opportunities to go behind the scenes to view and interact with new collections and exhibits.

Patrons of the Courtyard Pledge Form
The minimum gift size in a single fiscal year to be a member of Patrons of the Courtyard is $2,500. The Fund’s fiscal year runs from July 1 – June 30. We are grateful for multi-year commitments for a minimum of two years and a maximum of three.
