Join us for the fifth annual Night in the Stacks, a milestone celebration as the iconic McKim Building transforms into a dazzling Midnight Circus—an immersive evening of spectacle, mystery, and imagination. Building on five years of unforgettable after-hours experiences, this year’s event promises to be our most extraordinary yet.

Step Into the Midnight Circus
The ringmaster is calling! Step right up and enter the Big Top as Night in the Stacks transforms after dark into a dazzling Midnight Circus. Beneath the glow of the spotlight and among the towering stacks, guests will gather for a spectacle of untamed revelry. Prepare for a thrilling parade of performers featuring live music by the Sweetbeats Band, lively dancing, delicious fare, an open bar, and mesmerizing acts worthy of the grandest three-ring circus.
This riveting celebration raises essential funds for the Boston Public Library’s free programs and services.
Midnight Circus Cocktail Attire: Think elegant eveningwear infused with the enchantment of a bygone circus—dramatic, glamorous, and full of mystery.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for everyone, guests must refrain from wearing full-coverage masks or bringing costume weapons.
