NEH Grant revives Community History Projects put on hold due to COVID 19 pandemic.
With $200,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the BPL will make one of America’s oldest traditions of newspaper more accessible to all.
The $175,000 grant supports the creation of a Workforce Development librarian position and the expansion of programming. The program is part of the Library’s overarching theme — Repairing America —
A gift of $25,000 will fund community programming and instrument lending in the branch’s state-of-the art Music Room.
English as a Second Language Classes continue online in 2020… Attendance Doubles!
One in three children enters kindergarten without the tools necessary to learn to read. The Future Readers Club works to even that playing field.
The BPL is bridging the digital divide with Home Connectivity Kits, where patrons can “check out the internet” with a laptop, hot spot, and multilingual quick-start guides.
