When you recommend a grant of $500 or more to the Boston Public Library Fund before December 31, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $35,000, thanks to the generosity of Pamela Newport, Leo Liu and Pendred Noyce, and Lou and Cheryl Maiuri.

🗣️ $1,000 supports 40 ESOL class sessions, empowering English language learners to thrive in their communities.
📚 $1,250 helps care for and catalog up to 500 volumes in the BPL’s historic Founding Research Collection – the books, journals, atlases and more that established the nation’s first public library.
🌞 $2,500 helps sponsor the Library’s Youth Summer Reading initiative, encouraging hundreds of young readers to discover a lifelong love of learning.
