Housed on the fourth floor of the Johnson Building in Copley Square, the BPL’s Rare Books and Manuscript department is home to more than 250,000 books, one million manuscripts, and hundreds of objects and artifacts. A major renovation—supported in part by the BPLF—is underway to transform the space in which this priceless collection resides and create more.
