On our 21st Century Library Tour, you’ll discover how the nation’s first public library is boldly redefining what it means to be a resource for today’s patrons through groundbreaking programs, innovative services, and a world-class collection that continues to inspire, educate, and connect communities across the Commonwealth.
Your tour will conclude with reserved seats at the Author Talk with Nicholas Boggs where he will discuss his New York Times bestselling biography, Baldwin: A Love Story, named a top book of 2025 by Time and The Atlantic and winner of the National Book Critics Circle John Leonard Prize. Following the hour-long talk, Boggs will sign copies of Baldwin, with books available from our local independent bookseller, Trident Booksellers.
