Adventure Begins at the BPL!

Join us in raising $55,000 for Summer Reading to provide free books and programs to Boston's youth!

…and it begins at your library! This summer, children and teens throughout Boston will be going on their own adventures, both within the pages of captivating books and while exploring the world around us.

Once again, the BPL is providing children and teens across the city with free books to take home and build their own personal libraries. The BPL will also provide many educational programs at the Central Library and all 25 neighborhood branches.

Your gift towards Summer Reading will help purchase 4,500 picture, chapter, and YA books and fund the educational programs. By offering access to a diverse selection of books to keep and programs, we aim to empower Boston’s youth to go on their own adventures, both at the library and at home! Join us in coming together to raise $55,000, so we can ensure that children of all ages have adventures between the pages and beyond!

Thanks to a generous group of donors, every gift we receive will be matched, dollar for dollar up to $55,000. Your donation will have double the impact!
